The Arab side has decided to continue suspending anti-dumping measures against our three-phase transformers for two years
On July 31st, our office received a note from the Deputy State Secretary for Foreign Trade of the State Secretary for Trade of the Argentine Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, informing us that the Argentine side had previously imposed ad valorem taxes on 10000 to 600000 kilovolt ampere oil-immersed three-phase transformers originating in China and South Korea in accordance with the Ministry's Resolution No. 308 of July 2014, and subsequently suspended anti-dumping measures for six months in accordance with the Ministry's Resolution No. 7 of January 16, 2015.
Due to the proposal by the Secretary of State for Energy of Afghanistan that such transformers are equipment used for energy system infrastructure and that measures taken will harm the development of electricity, the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance has decided, in accordance with Resolution No. 580 of July 16, 2015, to continue to suspend anti-dumping measures for a period of 2 years from July 16, 2015.
